I agree with I never want to pick on any individual youbers, but there's things that went viral that I will never understand. I see channels that have really good quality videos but never get noticed, but videos that don't have a lot of effort put in it goes viral for example some dude put a towel on his head and ran around screaming it went viral lolHow can you not like "Charlie Bit My Finger", you monster?!
So much of YouTube is just totally beyond my understanding as to why it would appeal to anyone. I won't pick on any individual channels but some are real head-scratchers out there.

You are right! We shouldnt pick on anyone. Sometimes the worst stuff created but have had the heart and soul of the creator behind it.
I do get a little annoyed at clickbait and i know a video is getting views because its clickbait and not for the content.
I know a youtuber (not naming names) that posts videos after popular football games - with thumbnails of the game and a title which suggests its match highlights. But the video is actually the youtuber rapping about the game in his car. The raps arent good, but each vid gets 1k views in a week
