whats the best video editing software for gaming

Nothing compares to Adobe Premiere Pro IMO. In quality, features and unfortunately price. Vegas is decent.

For beginners, I'd suggest the Vegas or Adobe "Casual lines" You can get a good video editor for about $100. Combine that with a webcam, cheap mic and Audacity for audio editing. *shrugs*

It's not what's best, it's what you're use to and most comfortable with. All video editing software essentially accomplishes the same thing.

I've demoed every single piece of editing software out and find Adobe Premiere easiest to use.

Premiere Pro is actually less than easy unless you already know what you're doing. Premiere Elements dumbs it down without a significant loss in features most people will use.

For me, those video editing software are too complicated and expensive, basically Smartpixel Producer is enough for my youtube game video editing.

Hm... well I never use editors very much for gaming videos... but if you're looking for something free try VideoPad, and on the more expensive end I'd go with Camtasia studio :)

I'm a beginner, for me the easier the better, in my opinion, the best gaming video editing software is definitely SmartPixel, I use it to capture Dota 2 and WOW 3, which works great for me.

In my opinion , Camtasia Studio is very good at basic editing , I always edit my gaming videos with it. It is also easy to use.
