My content is going to scientific created content about magnets and experiments, non of that spammy crap you see all over YouTube.

Sry bro but no, from my experience, I've been on YouTube for 6 months and I'm only at 120 subs
 
Depends on how lucky you get aswell as how well you promote your content man. 1k subs in a month isnt impossible and 20k in 4 months could be done. Just gotta put out AMAZING content that people cant get enough of but i doubt itll happen if im honest :( dont wanna be a downer just realistic but i wish you the best of luck!
 
Not impossible, but I think social media is a powerful thing when trying to get your videos out there! Good luck to you
 
It's good to have a goal but you have to really keep in mind the size of your audience. For channels that are more niche like the one you are describing it can be tough to achieve the same numbers and growth that a more accessible channel like comedy for example. It's still quite possible to achieve good growth with a niche channel and you audience tends to be more involved. Just don't be discouraged if things start slow. It's really hard growing a new channel from nothing, especially if you don't use much social media to promote what you are doing. Good luck on your goals. I wish you all the best.
 
If you do you would be on track to YouTube greatness. With that being out there you are likely to not even have 100 subscribers by the end of month 4. It took me a year to get to 100. another one to get to 1000 and then one more year to hit 3000. Now I am sitting at 3500 and still growing slow. You either take off, or take it slow. There really is no in between. You will know in those first months if you got what it takes to make it big.
 
The fact that your niche is so exact "magnets and experiments" I'd say not very likely...
Then again I do not wish to discourage you from your goals so good luck!
 
Well the first video was released yesterday in my channel. So far I have 140 views and 32 subscribers. I'm still holding onto my goals but it may be harder than I first thought. Will keep updating on the progress
