What's happening to processing?

Last night I noticed processing was taking forever. I uploaded a 3 minute video and it took over an hour to process. Today I uploaded a 2 minutes and 48 seconds long video and it has also been processing for over an hour. I've uploaded longer videos in the past and it has never taken this long to process.
 
It's been happening to me too. Basically when I upload a video, it uploads normally, but when it starts to process, it is either really fast, or really slow.
 
I Literally just uploaded a 2 min 30 sec clip in around 10 mins, Much slower then my usual but I have been having internet problems tonight
 
6 hours for 4 minutes video here. Definetly it must be a glitch. Several months ago happened the same thing - glitchTube.
 
Processing has been taking forever, but not as extreme as your case. :o

A 20-30 minute video will usually upload in about 90 minutes, and processing takes about 20 minutes. :l
 
Must be internet problems since I just uploaded and it processed in a few minutes.

It was only a 2min video though, lol.
 
Yeah it has been incredibly slow lately. But it still works, you just have to wait it out. A good chance to grab another slice of pizza.

Processing is not related to the internet. Processing is done by YouTube's systems. A video can be processed without internet connection.
 
youtube be on something when we upload it always takes a while even when i upload from final cut pro to youtube it take a while.
