What's going on??

I'm not sure why you're views are fluctuating, but I'd say as long as you're getting at least half your subscriber count to view each video, You're in good standing.

And I'm sure subscribers haven't stagnated either. As long as you're still getting subs you're okay.

It may just take longer to get to the top, but you need to have patience. :)

I don't necessarily want to me at the top but I just feel with other videos I generated more views faster.

I'm feeling very unmotivated, I'm looking at my last three videos and they aren't picking up. I want to keep pumping more and more videos but then I'm thinking may I need to figure out what's going on first....Some of my videos are doing really well so it makes me question why other don't pick up as much. I'm promoting the same way for each video, tagging, etc..

Any advice would be helpful thanks!
Got the same problem...

I'm feeling like; why should I spend so much time on making videos. Why are the views of my latest videos subpar? Why is my daily view count dropping in general? What needs to be done to stop that drop? Why should I even bother?

Dunno man, I'm doing my videos like I don't care... Creating quick and easy videos because of lack of motivation to create good-looking videos. I don't know if that's going to hurt my channel or not, but I couldn't be bothered :)

So no real advice I guess.... just saying you're not alone at the moment

Thanks! A good vent is needed once in a while totally in the same boat. I've been told in the summer the views really pick up, but not sure when summer officially starts? I'm guessing end of june-early july I'm hoping to see a jump hopefully

I hope so! I can't see why though, everybody is outside because of the good weather. People going on holiday travel. Maybe because of the holidays people are bored and going to watch Youtube... But I sure hope you're right :)

Do you also feel you're having a hard time to prevent your daily view count from dropping? I'm seeing a trend in my own graphs and it's not upwards....

This is perfectly normal. I had the same problem for a while. My first few videos were all pretty popular, but after that my videos just didn't catch on, but now (took a few months) it looks like i am getting on the right track again. Nothing to explain it really, just keep going and it will turn around again...

Pinny pin @PinProject you're still doing very well for yourself. Quick glance at your videos shows me that people like holiday inspired/themed food videos. Maybe you can do a video every month or bi-weekly of a food themed for that month (even if it's not a holiday). Then send to me to taste test, thanks.

As a whole it's going up but thats because of the 3-4 popular videos I have that are keeping the views high. For me the problem is with the new vidoes that I post usually have 1-2 weeks I see the views pick up but they havent..[DOUBLEPOST=1433188351,1433188319][/DOUBLEPOST]

Yeh I wish there was a popular holiday every month lol Those videos do really well for me....maybe i'll get creative for Canada Day or Independence Day coming up in July. LOl sure i'll send you what I make but no guarantees how well it arrives in the mail

You seem to have a channel that is a little hit and miss when it comes to which videos are successful, but I think that's a good thing. It means that your subs aren't solely driving the success of your successful videos, but rather they are ranking highly in search and/or ranking highly with regard to the suggested video algorithm. That's really what's happening when you see videos with thousands of views but only 1k subs. You've gone stretches before where a couple videos in a row never gained much traction and followed it up with videos that got many thousands of views. This has happened before...it's no big deal. Keep cranking out the videos...try to make them as compelling as possible and also come up with ideas that people will search for (it is not an accident that your top viewed video is very generically titled and also something many people would search for). That video has a very broad appeal to many different ages of women, therefore more search queries, more people clicking on it in the suggested video section, and more views.

Don't give up. It'll be fine. This is just the nature of Youtube.

May be you simply have reached your quota for certain niche.
The algorithm can upgrade you but it must continue to detect decent and consistent amount of engagement and watch time originating from your channel. It takes time!
