Well continuing doing what people like is a surefire way to get good exponential growth, I'd say try to maintain that and branch out slowly, then keep the stuff people like, and discard the stuff people don't want in your videos.

No, not at all. If your content isn't relevant to mine, it's unlikely that any subscribers will go there for an extended stay, on top of that, even if I made all 200,000 people subscribe to another persons channel, if they didn't find that persons content interesting they wouldn't keep watching.

I can however push the people that I feel truly deserve/need it, for example "ThePeacePigeon" (Youtube.com/thepeacepigeon), I found him when he had under 1000 subs, and I've been working with and promoting him ever since. He's now at 44k subs, which is pretty cool.

I've promoted almost every single of his videos, yet he still wouldn't have made it to this point if he didn't have exceptional content, that he actively posted.

I think it's cool, I'm gonna be staying in a s****y motel with another Youtuber since every hotel under 500 dollars a night was booked, I even have to loan a friends ID who looks like me since you have to be 21 to drink in the US ^^

Fair enough, fair enough.

I suppose despite only being on Youtube for 5 days I already yearn for more success.

Seeing how we both play video games, would you mind just a sentence of feedback and advice for me? Naturally, I have read many of your topics and what not, but of course hand tailored advice would be amazing. Pardon the greedy question so I will follow it up with: what is your favorite game?

I only check in on yttalk in short breaks from editing, and I don't wanna analyze an entire channel ;P
But my favorite game of all time is diablo 2, damn I loved that game.

Also shotuout to honorable mention: League of Legends, literally my job
Titanfall is pretty fun too
oh and the new diablo 3 expansion totally fixed most issues I had with the game
Oh I also love Wildstar, been in the beta for 3-4 months, started over with Aurin Stalker and I love it
so many choices, but anything below diablo 2 are just honorable mentions.

Understandable. I can more or less agree on Diablo 2, many a nights were spent watching my brother play on an old block computer monitor when I was young. Cheers.
