What with the massive dislike in YouTube Rewind 2018?

The concept was kinda dumb. IDK, I kinda like the Rewinds that are like one long mixed music video. The people talking at the campsite kept breaking up the music and killing the flow. Then they got all preachy and SJW-ish near the end too. Rewinds are supposed to be fun, but this was really a badly organized mess.

It also feels like every year more of the Youtubers I actually watch or know about either don't make the cut or appear for less and less screen time. Markiplier was barely in it, and was MatPat in it at all? Cupquake cameos in Wreck-It Ralph 2 but not in Rewind? And what does Will Smith have to do with anything? At least when PSY was in a Rewind it made sense cause his video went viral.

If they were gonna use a celebrity, Mr. Bean shoulda been in there somewhere since he won a Youtube Play Button this year.
 
I didnt know anyone on it. Pewdiepie's review of the review was a better watch.
Im kust upset that I wasnt called up for it..

I was thinking they should make a rewind under each video category. That would be way more inclusive of up and coming creators...

I hit the dislike button because I feel it wasn't a good video.

You have this huge video with a lot of great video editors and a horribly edited video.

Every other shot was a panning 1-2 second shot and the pans and cuts were all way too fast... show that video to a real movie editor and they would probably say something like "send that editor back to the high school where you found them"

Edit: I would also limit each creator to one Rewind appearance ever.

I think it's because YouTube left out a lot of HUGE things. For example Logan Paul v.s KSI boxing, T Series v.s Pewdiepie subscriber race, etc.. Also having Will Smith be the opening "YouTuber" is kinda crazy imo. Yes, he uploads but he is an actor, not a YouTuber. Either way, I don't think they deserve all the dislikes. I enjoyed most of it I guess. Maybe I missed something though lol.
