What will make you unsubscribe a channel?

If someone eggs me on to sub to their channel, I'll hop on, sure; but that sets a low bar for my unsubbing. I often unsub from people who bore me, or have consistently produced content that I didn't care for. The most egregious event, however, is if they start promoting some sort of harmful ideology that I directly disagree with -- although if they actually interact with me, I'll try to talk to them first, but there's no reason that I want to listen to someone going on about something I find socially harmful.

Beyond that, really, being bored constantly by videos or finding myself dreading looking at their videos is often enough for me to ditch them.

If there videos become dull and infrequent. For example, if I subscribed to a channel because they made me laugh, and they aren't making me laugh anymore, why should I continue to watch their videos?

when I unsubscribe it will be usually for the ignorance of the channel...........................maybe racism lol

As a person that does not make videos, I find that it is more of a hassle to unsub a channel. I sub channels because I may have found a video interesting or like a specific series that they were doing. After so many months of watching videos, i noticed that I was subbed to over 200 channels. It would take a good bit of my day to go to every channel and see if they are still making good content. I make my viewing easy by bookmarking my favorite channels in my browser and if I want to watch more, I simply go to my subscription page and watch the videos that are in the feed. This may give some insight into how people that only view videos respond to "changing" channels, since i am sure that i am not the only one that practices this method of watching videos.

Honestly I think this whole "if they aren't commenting back I unsub" thing is weird. Did you want to see their content or not? I don't sub people to "show support" I sub people cause I want to see what they upload. If I don't, I won't sub, so what they do in return has absolutely no baring on whether or not I stay subbed in regards to them supporting me. I will unsub when I grow tired of their videos and have felt this way for a few videos in a row.
