What was your biggest obstacle?

I didnt really consider anything as a hurdle. I just wanted to make videos with the hope of making money. So I just made them and continue to make them. Im doing better than I could have ever imagined.

Well, Youtube helped me to get out of my homeless situation back in 2011. My biggest obstacle today is trying to recover from the Youtube boycott. My channel dropped with over 90% in views, sub rate, and revenue since that happened. To fix that I need to focus on audience retention which is extremely low.
 
In my case I have never been a big camera person. I am also an introvert by nature which can make starting very difficult. It is also a little awkward when people you know or you meet find out about your channel. I am a grown man but I have to admit it makes me feel uncomfortable...ohh well it is 2018 lol.

Was’ is and will forever be lack of time!! I had to learn how to wring out every second of free time an funnel it into the channel. There isn’t much free time to begin with and with YouTube now.. well I don’t get a seconds rest
 
Nothing really, I just did it. When I got older I stopped caring about what other people think and just do what I want to do. And that is exactly what YouTube is all about. It is your page to do whatever you want on. Why worry about what other people think? You will get the haters sure, but you will also find those that you are on one line with. And that my friends, is awesome!
 
My obstacle was finding the will and motivation to actually start. I keep believing nobody will watch me or notice me because I don't have a particularly interesting life at the moment. I do make videos now, but I am still a little skeptical about you know, being seen. I still really enjoy it so far and it would at least serve as a vault for my life memories.
 
Self doubt by far. I'm my worst critic, and i can make myself hate my endeavours so quickly its not even remotely funny at this point.

And its a problem im always going to face i feel.
