What Video Editing Software Do You Use?

ApexTV

ApexTV Makes Top 10 Videos!
Hi everyone! ApexTV here! I would just like to know what everyone uses for video editing these days! I am currently using Power Director 13 and have been using Power Director for years now! I am interested in what other video editing programs are out there! If you edit videos with a software, please leave a comment to what software, thanks!

(I'm just trying to get ideas to what software I could use and recommend to friends!)

Sony Vegas.. very useful and easy to understand but as a gaming channel I dont edit much as other types of channels. But, i still edit quite a bit. :)

Thanks for the recommendation Chaz! You'd better get that channel link working!

I'm still using Power Director 11 Director's Suite. The main issue with it is that it is a resource hog, once transitions and effects are used it slows down a lot in preview mode. It's very easy to use though.

Hey there, I used power director for ages. Always loved it as everything was easy to use, it could pretty much save as any file format without confusing you and the later versions had some pretty powerful tools. I did notice however when you what to create more complex videos I was always waiting around to cut and preview clips, even on my new computer. Have since moved to premiere pro and after effects on recommendation of a friend. Although they look complex at first once you get your head round them they are much much better, so much quicker to navigate through videos.

Until now I've only used Sony Vegas and its great!
Simple to understand but you can still make some quite professional stuff with it :)
