What type of video genres/content would you most like to make outside of your own?

I want to get into making short films, but I think I could make that work with the kind of stuff I'm already doing (Instrumental music).. I actually have two short films mapped out in PowerPoint! Both are incredibly depressing stories.. I probably should think of something a little happier..

I have two completely different channel ideas -- one is a science tricks channel, and the other is a How-to channel. I love physics, and I could totally nerd out about that all day long.. The How-To channel would have a bunch of different stuff on it. I'd show how to cook super quick and simple meals, quick hair styles, fun crafts..that sort of thing. It could probably go in hand with the science trick channel, actually.. I really want to somehow incorporate those channel ideas into what I'm doing, but I don't see them fitting anywhere.. : P
 
I've always wanted to do a series on game design. I find most modern games to be abysmally designed, and it seems like either no one is talking about it, or people have forgot the important lessons of design from past games. It drives me nuts that some designs are taken at face value, when there are actually MUCH better ways of executing those ideas to make games way, WAY more fun.

But, as a game designer, I think about those things a lot anyway. I currently find it more valuable to put those thoughts and energy into actually crafting games, rather than expounding critique of others' work. Maybe one day, though. And I'd start with Batman: Arkham Asylum. HATE that game...

Anyway, I'm actually going to start making some different style videos on my channel soon. More short-films that tell stories (sort of like my Roadtrips video but more in-depth) rather than the brute-force style I currently take for most videos.

I'd also LOVE to do interviews with owners of cool cars, and get them to describe their passion about it, but that fits into my channel as well and will probably be happening within the year...
 
Would love to do comedy but am a HUGE movie buff, so I always plan out like Star Wars short films that I can do with a friend. We haven't completed them yet but it is hard with other commitments (be it school, work, etc). We will get there though. So yeh in essence comedy and movie trailers.
 
I would probably do life advice/ motivational videos. I may end up doing that one day, but I have to work on my current channel first!
 
I would like vlogging but i think I'm too shy to stand and talk to a camera while i know there is my wife or kid in the other room. Let alone they're in the same room.
 
I'd like to do more walk around vlogging which isn't actually outside my own, I just don't do it often.
Aside from that, gaming! Because I'm terrible at it so we could all have some laughs :')
