I have a laptop to record consoles and a low end gaming PC to record some games I like to play no battlefield 3 or something so it's good enough for me

If you're going custom, I'd recommend getting an SSD and also check out the graphics card. Make sure it's good, otherwise you would end up with a great pc but every game lags like hell.
