What to do with used RAW videos?

I put all mine on an external 5tb harddrive, so they dont take space up on my pc. but i have them if need them

i have an 3TB external HD and it's taking up almost 2TB lol. I need to start deleting soon. Just need to edit & upload all the remaining content.

i seen one montage maker for cod showing he rendered out the best parts and deleted the rest

i honestly keep everything ,though. both renders and raws(it's not fraps footages so not much space ona 3t). one bot crew can false flag down a channel and if you can somehow get it back it'll come back with 0 videos and 0 subs. hell square or some other company can jsut put some copyright claims on the channel. just because it's on youtube doesnt make it permanent!

I use gameplay videos for the ending sequence of my video. That way I hope to get more views on my other let's play series.

I obviously make back ups for my upload videos since when rendered in premiere they are pretty small around 100mb.

That might be a good idea. Though that reduces quality a bit right?

while im mostly streaming now, the reason i dont do it is it's hard to render out a clip that's like exactly as the footage is. usually rendered out stuff has things like color correction and software lighting effects and even codecs that's not going to be exactly like the raw clip. rending it again there is a lot of adjustments needed to get the footage looking good compared to just rendering out the footage raw.

but if crammed for space well it is a good option. render like on high britate, no linear lighting or fx effects. better than deleting the vid all together :)
