Just for the fact he is trying to defend that it wasn't him, and it was "from a long time ago", I don't believe it one bit. Sorry. Just admit you botted them. Your not fooling anyone.

Doesn't it just annoy you how people do this? I have a serious problem with botting I don't even know what it is but it just annoys me everytime I hear about it

YES. Omg I cannot stand when people bot. Like seriously? Who are you trying to fool, yourself? Like does it make you feel better you have to fake your success? Does it make you feel like you are better than people with lower views/subscribers?

At least I can say one thing that cannot; All of my views/subscribers are real. I actually have real people watching my videos. I worked hard for those stats.

Yeah same its very irritating, do Partners that bot still get paid for botted views? Cause surely if they did it would cost the network big time £?

Yeah I agree its a nice feeling knowing your views are real.

I have no idea what happens with the money. My guess is that the botted views don't count for monetization, but I could be wrong.

They will have to sort it out properly because I read they are trying to increase mobile monetization from 15% to 65% and if that happens botted views would make decent $

Not really, botted views tend to have audience retention of >5% therefore producing CPMs of next to nothing :p

Yeah that's a good point. Who knows :confused: Maybe with Youtube doing more audits will have something to do with it.

On one of my videos a while ago I had an audience retention of 4% and it still had a decent CPM :P

I have 900 views on it, and 450 is mobile views. & Not a single comment lol. I don't really know why it's one of my more popular videos, it's nothing special :| I know I didn't bot the views, so I'm thinking maybe someone else hit it with a bot? I've always wondered about it.
