What stops you from filming?

For my last video, which was filming a Lego sailboat, I had a lot of things that had to be right. One of the biggest issies was the weather, not freezing (ice on the water), no rain, plenty of wind and sunshine. I also needed to get a friend to operate the camera. It took me about three months :cold:, basically till winter was over before I could start filming.

However, this was a very special case, usually it's more mundane thing like work and studying that keep me from my hobbies.

- Anyone is home (They're just too loud).
- I have a bad acne breakout.
- It's a really cloudy day (Filming in low light makes my videos grainy)

I second ALL of those, as well as:
1. not being bothered to dress up properly or put on make
2. not preparing properly so if i'm missing props and stuff
 
I only film when the house is silent, I don't need to study... and I've written at least a little. I promised myself that my Channel would be second to my novel projects, so I rarely let myself film if I've not written anything.
 
If I've overdone things the last few days, or I haven't slept, then I'm just too tired to focus on filming. I haven't had to miss any videos due to revision/exams yet, but I might have to soon.
 
I'm a musician so I pre-record the audio first then the real video so everytime when I'm recording and a door suddenly bang open there it goes down the drain..I have to record it again...
 
I can't film at night, the interior camera won't pick up anything but grain due to low light, and I am not turning on the interior lights in my car as that reduces your ability to look outside. Other than that it doesn't matter, rain or shine I am good. Naturally I won't do outside filming when it rains (car shows and the like) but that is a given!
 
I record lets play gaming videos without a facecam, so the only thing that has stopped me recording so far is background noise that is either too loud or inconsistent because I can't edit it out.
 
For me its:

- Parents watching movies/telenovelas really loud!
- Animation work (3d)
- Animatics work (2d)
- Karate Tournaments
- Karate Karate Karate lol
 
The only thing that stopped me from filming for a significant long time so far was my health. Had to be hospitalized earlier this year and during that time I missed youtube so much!
But recently, I realize some personal stuff sometimes can get to me, such as...breakups, getting too busy with work, etc. But at the same time, I think recording a video, uploading and just being on youtube have been helping me cope with these problems also. Weird, I know...=D
 
Well there's two people on my channel so when he can't make it round to my house or the other way around that's usually the main issue since work can sometimes get in the way and stop it, or just recently, hospital. my friend couldn't make it round for a whole month or two (That was back in January and February) because he had to have an operation. But these last few weeks we've been arranging certain days and making sure nothing collides on that day to stop us :3
