Upload whatever you want...

You shouldn't be slaved into uploading videos you don't enjoy making.

Do whatever you enjoy :)

If you don`t do videos for fun, then you won`t be happy doing them which you`re viewers will notice.
So.. Yea, just do whatever you find fun :)
I think that's why i'm not that happy with my vlogs (except my more recent ones)... I'm just not having fun with it.

Don't feel bad about stopping daily vlogs- 6 months is a long time!! I would say to do vlogs on interesting days and upload other types of videos more regularly like the tags/challenges!

So some of you may know, but I am a daily vlogger on YouTube. When I started on November 5, 2012, I set a goal for myself to vlog everyday for 365 days. Tomorrow marks 6 months of vlogging, but I'm just a bit bored of it. I feel like doing daily vlogs isn't really for me, since my life isn't that interesting. I find that a lot of my vlogs are repetitive.

I recently started doing more fun videos like tags and challenges, and I am having a blast with it. I enjoy making those kind of videos, and I feel like my viewers enjoy it as well.

Should I stop doing daily videos, and just upload whenever? I really love doing vlogs about my day, but on days where I don't do anything (which is most days.. lol), I feel like there really is no need for me to make a video of it :S

Right now my idea is to continue doing more fun vlogs (doesn't have to be tags/challenges), and on days that I go do something, record that and upload it as a "take a long" kind of a vlog. I feel like doing this will not only help out my channel, but help me connect more with my viewers. I mean, who want's to watch daily vlogs of a person they don't really know, right? :S

I have thought about quitting doing daily vlogs, something that I never wanted to do since I see a lot of channels try to do daily vlogs, and give up a few weeks in. But i'm not one of those channels. I've made it to 6 months, and I don't think I can go on for 6 more months. Doing daily vlogs is a lot of work .__. I am okay with stopping 6 months in.

Sorry for the long post lol, I just wanted to try and explain it the best I can. I just want to know your opinions on this. & If you think to stop doing daily, what kind of schedule should I do? I do not want to do once a week.
It's fine KG. Don't worry about "not going through with your plan" it's more important that you put out the content you want to put out.

I agree with everyone else. If you're not having fun with it or think its not good enough then don't do it.

kgatv i think you may just need a break don't let youtube stress you out your videos are in good quality and you have a bit of subs and you get traffic so you are entitled to a break just take a vacation:cool:
Haha yeah... I think that's the thing too. I film, edit, and upload everyday. That takes up so much time out of my day. I never get a break >.<[DOUBLEPOST=1367692380,1367692337][/DOUBLEPOST]

So true![DOUBLEPOST=1367692428][/DOUBLEPOST]
Which is a good reason to stop, or just set it aside for a while, you could always vlog the first 6 months of 2014 ;)
Haha yeah... well if my life gets anymore interesting (doubt it LOL), then maybe I'll do daily vlogs again.

Personally I Un-sub to channels that Post every single day. Its not that im being mean but I just feel like every week I have to filter through just a spam of videos to get to what I want to watch.

And most people I feel are like me and dont spend every day one Youtube watching videos or staying up with a series that comes on everyday.

I look at it like this, There is a reason TV shows only pick one day out of the week to release a new episode. And any kind of series on any kind of channel follow this formula. An I think Youtube shouldn't be any different, why would it?

If a majority of people get tired of seeing new TV shows back 2 back every week, why wouldnt people get tired of someone releasing content daily?

(Throwing out numbers) If the majority of people get tired of a TV show 300 episodes into it, Would you rather have them sucked in for 300 days (1 new episode each day) or for 150 weeks (2 new episodes a week).

Lolz sorry for the corny stuff! Just trying best to explain my thought process :penguin: :bounce:
