I am having trouble finding what else to add in the very top block (that has my name and the links) I was thinking like cartoon scenery but I'm not really sure. Any ideas? Thanks

Maybe something to do with subscribing, or maybe a picture of yourself. From what I see right now though, it looks really good.

Yeah maybe where you're name is (that banner) a background with nature (trees, flowers, awesome cloud) and other stuff.
