What programs to make thumnails and gfx designs :D

And also!! What programs can i use to edit videos I have sony vegas peo 11 But arent there any other programs to use?? Sony vegas has so many options that i have no clue of how it works XD

I use Adobe Photoshop CS3

Just to let the original poster know, the latest version of photoshop is CS6, but it costs a lot, but I use gimp, it's great and it's free.

I use sony vegas for editing and photoshop for thumbnails For thumbnails, it's good to go over 700 pixels.. (the exact youtube thumbnail size is 640 x 360) so.. if my picture quality in the video was not really good, then I would go with a smaller size to reduce pixel-ed image. And I also use gimp to remove background images.
