I use Blender. It's free and open source. It has one hell of a learning curve. Mainly a 3D animation suite, but it has a very good video editing capability.

Why not use a program that is meant for video editing? I use Blender as well, but only for 3d stuff.

Me too for now I might switch to Premier Pro soon.

I use Dxtory for my regular stuff, XSplit for screen capture, fraps as backup, and Movie Studio 12 to edit.

Currently Sony Vegas Pro 11, But I plan on both learning After Effects and switching to Premiere. I'm not switching because I don't like Vegas (In fact, I LOVE it), but because I'm aiming towards being an editor as an actual career, and no one uses Vegas professionally, so it'd be wise to actual use what the pros use.
