What motivates you?

I've been stuck in a rut. I want to know what motivates you to make youtube videos when you're not in the best shape?
My passion. And thinking about my fans and friends and how much of a difference I make in their world. Also comments, love them.

My future goals for youtube and my subs, when ever I get stuck in a rut I think of all the things I could miss out on if I give up doing what I do now, and all the people who have helped me get to where I am. The thought of disappointing them is not something I want so I push through and take the good with the bad and move forward :)

I just simply enjoy creating the content I upload whether I am doing a movie review or collaborating with artists and creating a music video. I find that people get in ruts when they become absorbed in the numbers game (not saying that you are) but many people are too concerned with being the next big thing. I just love what i do, its therapeutic

Nice point! I don't really know what im doing but then again, no one really does.

@msfancyspecs true, just do whatever you want to do, YouTube doesnt come with a manual I see it as a digital diary or journal. I can look back at any video and know where I was in life. Just do you honestly.

Anything that we enjoy doing in the end is a great motivation. You really gotta love what you're doing above all else. If you're making YouTube videos just to get famous, then you might just be doing it for the wrong reasons. I also love to hear feedback, good and bad. I think its one of those things that really helps out and lets you know where you can work on (Is the lighting too low? Is the volume too high? Does it need to be better scripted?) and it might just help you feel even more proud of your final product. But in the end, make videos for you and you'll always be happy. Even if you're not sure where to go, don't be afraid to step outside the box and do something different.

A few friends motivate me to create more creative content, but the fact that i enjoy what i do and i am learning a whole lot by doing it is what keeps me going. I upload because i want to share my creativity, if it gets views, fantastic! If it doesnt, its there for me and my friends to enjoy and its an experience for me to learn by and use in the future.
