Don't knock the Blue Snowball. That's not a bad mic overall! I use the Blue Yeti personally and want to upgrade to a Shure SM7B once my channel gets larger.
The Blue Mics are the most talked about and which seems to me is the general standard but I'm doing pretty well with Audio Technica 2500, its a sub $50 mic and works great so far.
I use a gaming headset - Skullcandy SLYRs in fact. For £64, they are probably the best pair on the market right now, especially since the mic quality is insanely clear for a headset and the price
That's a perfectly fine microphone, if you are still having issues with your sound a few tweaks in Audacity or similar program can make the world of difference.
Thats a great Mic, I personnaly have a headset mic from just $3, I'm planning to buy an Guitar Hero mic when I am going to London.
Otherwise I am going to buy the Bhringer C1u
I use my Razer Kraken Pro headset. And the mic quality is quite decent. It's not as good as a desktop mic like the Blue Yeti or Snowball, but it does the trick.
