What makes you want to subscribe to a channel?

Michael

I Love YTtalk
If there are three things that really entice you to subscribe to a channel what do you think they are? Think about the last time you subscribed to a channel and think about what was going through your mind when you went to subscribe.

For me it takes me quite a bit to subscribe, I haven't got much time to watch as many videos as I would like to at times so I am very liberal with clicking the subscribe button. I find that most of the time when I subscribe that the number one reason is always that I am getting something out of it. I tend to take my time and rarely subscribe on impulse or in a rush.

I will list mine below, share yours with us :)

1. I am getting something from it - be it entertainment, a strong connection to the person where I feel compelled to watch more, I am learning from it, whatever happens I walk away with something from it.

2. Content quality, they must have this and number 1. It must be good for whatever they're doing, varies by niche of course.

3. I think it would be the quality of both the video and audio. If the video quality is off it doesnt always stop me but if the audio is poor I tend to run, I cannot deal with not hearing someone properly, I prefer bad video quality :D

How about you?

1. If that main person/focus of the channel is funny and can make me laugh, odds are I'll go through their entire channel and then subscribe to see what else they have coming.

2. Getting information or interesting facts from the channel. I think something like that is pretty cool, and I usually watch those videos when I come across them

3. Sometimes I'll just subscribe for the hell of it. I don't really care about my subscriber feed getting flooded because I hardly ever use my channel anyway. If someone asks me or if I come across a channel that I even kinda liked, I'll probably subscribe.

free cookies would be my primary requirement, I suppose content accounts for a few % of my decision also :bounce:

Someone who makes me laugh/generally entertains me, or gives awesome advice on something I need help with.

If I see a video I like and see that they produce other videos that I will like. Normally I have to know they will provide something similar or entertaining in the future.

The videos I like to watch are
mostly gaming (cause I game. XD)
For gaming videos, it has to have good content/commentary. The Youtuber should have a good personality and someone you can relate to. And usually a game I would play/like to watch.
I also like theoretical stuff, or people talking about "what if" things. I think those are always interesting.
Talk shows are cool.
But also, it's gotta have good content.
Lol, mostly just have good content. XD
