What makes you click on a video?

May sound obvious but what makes you click on a certain thumbnail?

To be specific with an example, say you searched for gameplay of a game you're interested in. For arguments sake, lets say you recognise nobody,(YouTubers) out of all of the results in front of you what attracts you to said video?

The one at the top?
The one with the a lot of views?
Title?
Thumbnail presentation?

Cheers!

First I look at the thumbnail. If it looks nice i will most likely click it. Then I look at the quality, commentary, and audio.

More often than not, it'll be the thumbnail that is the primary deciding factor and the title will be the secondary factor. I like minimalistic thumbnails with a soft background, just anything that is visually appealing to look at. Matching colours, simple text, things like that.

Theres alot that goes into it the thumbnail would have to look professional but not over complicated and if the intro is over 6 - 9 seconds that normally gives me enough time to look at the videos next to it and just click on another one and skip your completely so keep the intro short and the thumbnail simple but not bland

Usually the title. I've seen some really fun, informative, or interesting videos by people who don't have really good skills in thumbnails, so I figure I'll just see if their title matches up with what I'm looking for. Mind you, I click away quickly, because I'm impatient, if there's nothing there for me.
