What makes a good avatar?

Yeah, I'll second Symph's thoughts. You definitely should adjust the spacing between the letters (aka "kerning") so the gap between the C and the A look the same as that of the A and the Y.

If I have time later when it isn't almost 2AM I might open up photoshop and mess around a bit with the shiz. Another consideration is to try out having the C be bigger than the others, it's a fun letter to play around with.

That'd be great if you could have a play around and see what you could do

Sorry! Got here late..........hehe. Did you put a different 'perspective' on the C A Y, and turn them sideways a little? That's probably why they look like they're a different sizes. When you do that, you have to be reeealllly careful, it's quite tricky and I try not to do it lol. Also, you should always try and put a little bevel, or stroke around your letters to make them stand out :) I liked the colours you used, they are nice :)

I'm putzing around with it all in Photoshop, can't seem to find the font that you originally chose. Is it a custom font? I'm kind of realizing that the fonts that I keep choosing make it so the "C" could instead be interpreted as a "G", and... perhaps it's good to be clear in this case. :)

If you're messing around with it too, I would consider just inching the C and the other letters together and adding a slight bevel to the letters and see how it looks.

The Font I used was Comic book, Yeah That's the issue when it comes to fonts, If it looks like a G it all goes wrong. I just got finished creating a new avatar, What do you guys think?

Yeah, I figured you realized the issue since the font you chose avoided the visual confusion way better than any of my fonts. I like the new avatar, it's very clean and shiny.
