What makes a Gaming Channel different?

It definitely boils down to personality. With so many options out there, the ones that are successful are usually the ones that people enjoy for the creator's personality. Take Markiplier, for example, who is the epitome of the loud and obnoxious YouTube gamer, but that's a good thing for him because he does it genuinely. For all we know he might just be putting the personality on for the camera, but it feels real and his reactions are easy to relate to our own. Then there's someone like Totalbiscuit, who has an enjoyable accent and is very well-spoken. And of course you have pewdiepie, which pretty much millions of people love for his antics and over-the-top reactions.
 
It also goes down to how your videos are organized - me, personally, like to make it easier for people to find what video they want so I break playthroughs up very preciously so that only a group of missions in a game that are tied with each other is in one video rather than just straight-playing for four hours.
