What made you start a channel

I think I started to make my Youtube channel for a similar reason. I had always wanted to make a Youtube channel and make Youtube videos, and one day, I just decided to jump in and do it!
 
I had a unique idea, I'm fairly intelligent so after bit of research and thought, I decided to pursue it! Though I knew it would require a LOT of time and effort.
 
I'm a volunteer videographer at an animal shelter and I make 30 second adoption videos for the pets. The shelter had a channel that was basically abandoned after they switched to Vimeo for the adoption videos. Last summer I decided to make videos for the shelter's YouTube channel to raise money and encourage animal adoption.
