What is your take on trolls?

OK, so I am sure everyone here works hard on their content and get praise for putting out quality stuff. What I am asking is what happens when someone gets on one of your videos and just destroys it and your channel, poking fun at you?

I have taken to witty comebacks that most of these YouTube trolls wouldn't even realize is a comeback. Say I suck, I reply "I do apologize you did not like my video, I hope my next video will please you more and you will give me more views than you already are." or when someone shares your video and comments like "You are a loser, get a job you piece of s**t, I'm showing my friends how much of a retard you are" I'll quickly reply "Thanks for the views and exposure."

What do you do to handle those pesky trolls?

I've never had a troll (except for my annoying a** friend who keeps on commenting stuff)
but if i did I would probably be like "thanks for watching anyways" or somehing
 
Yeah I just laugh it off and continue xD There were a couple of internet trolls once. I looked at their profiles: They were going for Anime videos and saying things like how Anime is for kids and stuff like that. I'm happy that happened because from then on, I never bothered with trolls anymore. I just leave em

Anime is for kids hmmm....? Those trolls are silly trolls
 
I laugh it off. I will remove comments that are blatantly inappropriate, otherwise I leave the comments alone. Sometimes I'll even engage with them, because I find it amusing.

I just figure screw it, they probably won't be back to my channel anyways, and if they do return and make another comment that is where I stop. Unless the second comment is just off the wall bs.
 
This is what I'm starting to say: "Anything you do to my video is helping me get more views." Dislikes and hate comments aren't read any differently than likes or regular comments. YouTube's search engine reads them all the same. Thanks for the help Mr. Troll.
