What is your sub to view ratio?

I have a real issue with mine to the point it is starting to get me down

I recently hit the big 1k subs (big to me anyway haha) and i was so proud as I wanted it for 2 years!

However, my most recent videos especially have done awful in views, i should be averaging at least 100 views every video by now, but sometimes i can barely scrape 30, last weeks video isnt even at 30 yet and has flopped so badly, it makes the milestone of 1k seem really pointless now as 90% of them arent even watching.

I am doing everything I can think of to try and make people want to watch, I promote everywhere I can, and I honestly do try really hard but it's honestly just embarrassing now, as I know some youtubers do make fun of other creators like me, who have a good set of subs but awful views and I KNOW it looks bad, and I am trying my absolute hardest to get better views.

But anyway sorry just needed to get that off my chest, just wanted to ask 1. Have you ever had moments like this with your views? 2. What is your sub to view ratio? and 3. Do you have any advice for me and other youtubers in this situation
 
I normally get around 400 views after 48 hours on my videos. That being said, a good chunk of those views come from reddit as I post on 2 cooking subreddits.I've got a good number of videos over 1k views now, which is mostly down to good SEO practice.

Total views, I average about 8-10k views a month at the moment. Couldn't tell you of that's good or bad though!

I've had my fair share of flops. For some reason my halloumi skewers didn't get that many views 197 at the moment. But if you look further back on the channel you'll see a fair few with less than 100 lol
 
I don't have any advice but i got 300 subs and only getting 20 views after 2 days of posting
Also i dont know how to use reddit if you have the time to type it down hopefull you could tell me
 
1890 subs, however 1700 ish are inactive from 7 years ago, so 190-200 subs 200-500 views per video after two weeks back on the account, using instagram as a redirect also.
 
I have like 230something subs, and average around 150 views per video when I advertise. I've recently tried out not advertising my last few videos, and averaged around 50 views. I don't find it discouraging though, this is just my hobby, and I'm actually surprised, and grateful that other people enjoy my content tbh.
 
reddit works. I have 65 subs but average around 170 views per video. It woooorks. And that's counting personal videos. this is why I stress that people should find niche's and themes because reddit is a gold mine if you can post in subreddits. they have the best engagement because they aren't so big that your post will get lost and not small enough so you don't get traction.
 
I have noticed that when you gain subs through sub-from-sub from your same niche channel. These subscribers usually doesn't add any value in increasing your views. They subscribe just for the sake of raising the sub counts but never return back to check your videos.

Gaining organic subscribers from different niche channels are very important in terms of getting good views for each of your videos.
 
I escaped sub for sub by never subscribing to any one and yelling at sub for subversion who comment on videos to unsub me, most of the time it works.

Currently I'm at 228,000 views and 1707 subscribers for a ratio of 134:1

I've made posts before saying that 100:1 is a good start and as a channel gets big the ratio moves up and 1000 or 2000 to 1 being very possible.

I'm also proud to say all my videos are "above water" that is, getting more views than subs I had at the time of upload. Only 5 are so now have less views than subs over time

And yes when I see a channel with many subs and o views I really wonder what happened
 
I have never used sub for sub all my subscribers are from genuine means, i hate the fact it looks like i do it. The only explanation I have is a lot (at least 700) are from years ago when I did my popular video and are now inactive or just don't watch me anymore

Exactly. I have a low sub count compared to views, but those same subs watch my videos multiple times and always comment. That's the most important.
