I also have cute dogs, people seem to like dogs a lot. My highest viewed videos are of my Navy weapon shooting down a drone missile, people like big guns too. Once I'm done with school I think I'll shift gears and make a viral video.... 3 1/2 months to go! One of my goals for this year was to have a viral video by the end of the year (one with over a million views in a sort of short amount of time). That means I'll have 1 1/2 months to do something that goes viral once school is done. I think I can do it.

My secret ingredient is teaching guitar very effectively and doing daily videos.
But in general the secret is knowing your audience and giving them amazing videos regularly. Once I got that down, my subscribers and views grew dramatically.

I honestly don't know.
If I were to make a guess, I would have to say it's my informative style of review. Though that's about all I have to say. I don't know what makes my videos get so much exposure/likes. I just know that what I'm doing works to an extent and it appeals to people.
Granted I'm not that big as a YouTuber, though that doesn't mean I'm not getting good results from my videos. I think they work fine, I take a lot of time and effort to produce them, and I enjoy every second of it.
So, what works for me is that I take pride in my work? I dunno.
