What is your opinion on ZoominTV?

I believe, though hopefully Shane will correct me if I'm wrong, is that every genuine MCN has a managed and affiliate side.
Yes, every network has atleast one managed and affiliate content owner, though it is possible to have more than one.
But something to note is that if an MCN has two managed Content Owners, Their strikes are counted together still, so it would be 15-20 strikes between them, not each.
Would be interesting to know! Haven't heard of managed being for network owned channels before.
That's what Fullscreen are doing, only putting channels they Own & Operate as managed.

My opinion about zoomin is a two way street. They have a 80% payout and that is great. I am just not fund of their contracts. I have been offered an MCN owned by Zoomin and I decided the offer due to the nature of the agreement. I also been offered to become a network under them. I was also offered a job in their business department and there Community mgt department. I really do not like the way they run. Quit frankly they make me nervous. I never knew way but I always got a bad feeling about them. I was never able to pick up the pen and sign anything from them. If you want to personally see what they are all about. Try out their partnership for the 3 months you are in trail. I have not heard one bad thing about them from their partners who are directly partnered through Zoomin. The only bad things I heard is from partners partnered through on of their networks. If I was you I would be partnered directly through the Network and not the VN.

Shane knows a lot more about Zoomin than I do. If you want to know everything about them before making your final decision ask Shane. If he can't help you I would go to Jaap.[DOUBLEPOST=1389607846,1389607160][/DOUBLEPOST]

Managed Channels was originally men't for channels owned by the network and Affiliated was men't for all partners. To protect the network from Copyright Strikes and any Copyright Infringement issues. But it didn't turn out that way. I just think networks just turned it into a selling point. "Come to us, Be managed not affiliated"

That's what I suspected, that it was not intended for partner channels. YouTube could have saved everyone the headaches by writing into the agreements that only MCN owned channels could be managed.
