What is your end goal on Youtube?

Posting Mad!
Pretty much what do you aim to get out of it at the end? When will you have fully succeeded in your life goals on the Youtube platform?

Fun, money, views, recognition, fame, etc?

Ultimately, I want my channel to be a library of videos in which people can better educate themselves about health and fitness. Everything else that comes with it is a bonus. I would never imagine making a living off of YouTube, but I know that can be within reach if I stay consistent with my channel so I'll give it as much effort as I can. Recognition and fame are definitely at the bottom of the priority list. Heck, I don't see myself revealing who I am on my channel anytime soon, if ever, but I'll take everything else that comes with it ;)

20k subs is pretty huge!!! Fame can be an internet personality who never reveals their true identity (until hackers).

I want the channel (which is not mine - it is for an animal shelter) to be a well-known animal channel. I roughly thought that would be more than 100,000 subs and then it would generate money for the shelter. I'm not even close to that and won't be unless I do something different.

Have you ever tried doing a Patreon at the side of your channel purely for raising money for your shelter? It means the subs and viewers will be able to help out the animals without just viewing. Could promote at the end of each video by saying here is the serious part, all these animals are in need etc etc. Just a thought and without knowledge if you have or not.

I will have met one of my goals when I get a viral video, basically one that gets a million views in a short amount of time. I have a few that will eventually hit a million, but it's not at a viral pace. I have one that should hit a million views in about 500 days, it gets about 1,200 views a day for some reason. That's not viral at all though, I want one that just explodes suddenly. Besides that I'm not way too serious about YouTube... I do try to promote my videos a lot and everything, but it's not my main focus in life.

Ultimately, I wanted to make the kind of content I personally enjoy. I've not really seen anything in the way we do ours, so there's a catharsis to it I guess! I'd love to work on this full time, I guess that's my dream

Your content is kind of like Grade A meets grade a c word. You will definitely make it if you keep it up. Todays video just showed it gets better, I just hope you keep up with ideas.

Bwhaha, what a great blurb! I appreciate your sentiments. Those type of comments literally fuel me!
