Hi guys, so i almost just started my youtube channel and it is still very small. I would like to hear all of your tips and tricks to grown and get awesome active subscribers! Thanks for reading :D
 
Having a clean look and catchy thumbnails is a good way to get views and subs. Also making sure youre happy with the content your putting out over just putting something out to hit a deadline. Be honest with your viewers and treat them all with respect and communicate/interact with them as much as you can!
 
Keep a steady upload schedule. Always look for ways to improve your SEO. Advertise anywhere and everywhere possible (just don't get spammy). Interact with your subscribers. Quality > quantity so don't over-upload. I upload (2) videos per week right now. If I feel like I don't have good quality content for that day I will wait a day or 2 then upload when I have enough footage thats worthy. Go over your old videos and private / delete any bad ones you think you have. Improve your channel GFX. Trust me, thumbnails, banner, avatar... it means a lot. These days you have about 2 to seconds to catch someones attention. If someone goes to your channel and they aren't interested you may not ever get the chance for the person to come back again.

With all these tips you should grow pretty steady. I've been doing youtube actively since about March this year and I'm almost 2,000 subscribers which is pretty good for a gaming channel.
 
Search your subject of video on tube buddy - to find first what people are searching for with a low competition of other videos about it ;)
 
My advice is really cheesy - but the biggest thing that keeps me wanting to post videos is just that I really enjoy making them, and I enjoy interacting with everyone on social media!
 
Don't fret too much on details or on trying to get subscribers. Just be comfortable with your channel and make videos that you know you'd watch to the end if you randomly found it on YouTube. That keeps your quality up.
Quality is key. Be innovative. Realize and accept that you likely will grow very very very slowly. Set your channel up to be the best it can be. Your effort always shows through to the viewer, for better or for worse.

Yeah, I can't seem to fix it for my life...I tried everything. None of the settings worked :/
EDIT: Never mind, I fixed it...turns out that I had to have none of the boxes checked, whoops. Link finally works, hallelujah
