WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?!

So I have tried loads of methods. Literally. But it seems like nothing worked for me. :(
Can you help me somehow to make more views?
 
Maybe you haven't discovered what your really good at? (That isn't a reflection on your videos). It's taken me 3 years to find out what I enjoy doing.

Have you tried your hand at everything? Vlogs, skits, short films, animation? I tend to find that when you're young you don't stick at things for a long period of time. My older vlogs are beyond awful.

Edit - Just a quick recommendation: I'd say to change your profile picture or take a new one, the one you have is really creepy :crying:, smile in your picture and take it in good lighting.

Agreed.
Make sure you advertise, use tags, use good titles with CAPITALS. Make your youtube page sexy, and your thumbnails sexy as well.
There are PLENTY of guides out there, I recommend you watch/view them.

I don't know that I necessarily agree with this. I think you can get noticed and you can gain attention.. There was a wonderful process I saw on another link.. (http://yttalk.com/threads/how-can-i-get-people-to-watch-my-videos.22938/)

Here it is though:

Interaction
Build relationships with people using social media sites and forums.
Respond positively and nicely to all comments and private messages.
Personally thank people who do things that help promote your channel.

Promotion
Embed links to your videos on blogs, forums and other media sharing sites.
Send links to people. Post links on peoples facebook pages.
E-mail links to people who operate blogs.
Create your own blog.

Optimization
This is where you optimize your:
title, description, tags, closed captions, thumbnails and annotations.
If you don't spend a ton of hours in the video manager you are doing it wrong!

Just to note: This is Mattv2099's process.. While I was doing this before, he really put it into contextual form - so all credit goes to him ;)
 
I agree with Losoyo, somebody left that advice on a thread I started last week and it's brilliant in my opinion.

Listen, I'm not a super popular Youtuber or anything, but I think you've got to enjoy the whole PROCESS of making videos rather than waiting to get super popular. If you enjoy making videos, at the end of the day that's what really matters. Having a large audience would only be a bonus. So if you really like making videos, keep doing it for the joy it brings, and enjoy the climb to your goal of having lots of views, rather than worrying about when you will get there.

One thing is you need to know it takes time to get views and all, it doesn't happen over a week, but I find that what works, find what you enjoy, keep doing that, I kept making videos that I enjoyed making, tried my best and only got a couple of views, but over time as I kept going I got more and more views, I learned what works and what doesn't, I'm now getting views and subs faster, what really got me to that was determination, don't give up, I nearly did too, but now i'm growing a channel, and I think you can too :)
