What is the longest you have spent making a video?

I recently spent about 2 weeks making a fake movie trailer for my channel, the end product was only 4 minutes long, lol. Looking back it is the most time and effort I've ever put into a video, but the final video was totally worth the effort. So I am just wondering, what is the longest amount of time you guise have spent making a video? Was the finished product worth the effort you put into it?
 
I just entered my second week of editing a KIRIN beer brewery visit movie. The final movie will be no longer than 4-5 minutes. But I am making pauses and working on other video projects meanwhile. So for really complicated movies I can spend 3-4 days of editing (sometimes a week). Also a week ago we started filming "setting up an aquarium at home movie" and we are still filming (one day buying the aquarium, another day buying plants and shrimps and yet another day buying the fishes). Yes, in general more time spent editing the video is worth the effort. Better upload less often but better quality videos than spamming your viewers with upload after upload of low quality movies.
 
I personally do daily (weekdays) Let's Plays. I wouldn't necessarily say that they are low quality, but the 'Let's Play' genre in itself is kind of lazy, since there's not a lot of editing involved. But when I want to make something really cool I will definitely spend the extra time to make it perfect :)
 
Because I run a community a have a **** ton of videos to edit so sometimes I have to edit these videos weeks in advance.It's challenging but you are rewarded!
 
When I started getting into making let's plays I usually spend about 2-4 days editing content in my first couple of weeks. nowadays I finally developed a schedule to balance time worked between my night job and creating content.[DOUBLEPOST=1408352789,1408352697][/DOUBLEPOST]

edit: now it takes me about a day and a half (3-5 hours/day)

Lol, that is a lot more effort than I'd put into a let's play. Basically I record it and then slap an intro on it and I'm done.[DOUBLEPOST=1408353123][/DOUBLEPOST]But that is just me :p. I can definitely see how you and some others can make it more entertaining with editing.
 
Actually I just learned about Noise Removal, even made a couple of tutorials about it, so that is an added process I will start doing in my let's plays...well, in October lol, I already have videos uploaded until then...
 
editing takes me no more than 1 hour editing about 100gigs worth of hd quality gaming. In time you can edit in your sleep.
