What is the "easiest" type of channel to create/start?

I've Got It
Hey Guys!

I am going to be a new youtuber and have so many ideas and have ideas for 4 different channels.
The problem is that I think I have to narrow it down even more, because I have to start somewhere.

I was wondering what your take is on which type of channel is the easiest one to get started.

For example, one channel would be educational. Then I can create animated videos with voice overs.
I find Vlogs a bit harder, because of the scripts, lighting, etc.

And also, which one do you think would be the easiest to grow? I know with Vlogs and Comedy sketches, it depends on a specific audience, also depending if they get your humor or not.

The Areas I have been pondering on are:
  • Vlogs
  • Explainervideos for Medical students
  • Language teaching channel
  • Book/Self-improvement summaries (Idea spreading Channel)
  • Comedy Sketches
  • Funny interviews/experiments with people
Would appreciate any input!

My personal input would be if you would to start so many channels to not keep any sort of schedule as you will get run down quickly.

Out of all of those probably the social experiments will garner the most views while the vlogs would be the hardest.

Me personally, I don't like any of the things you would be doing but there is a fanbase for all of it.

Technically speaking, the "easiest" channel would be something like vlogging, purely because the setup and premise is fairly basic and you're more or less being yourself, which is something you're already an expert at.

However, if you're more comfortable and/or passionate doing something else, then do that. Regardless of what content you end up making, YouTube is a commitment one way or another.

Well it depends on what you are perfect with, I am comfortable with GAMING, so in my opinion gaming channels is easiest. I dont need to think about new ideas, just need to search for new games and play.

I agree with the above mentioned. I think you should only create content you have a passion for. Regardless you need to climb the ladder and it's not easy since there's millions others who are doing the same. If you're looking to monetize you shouldn't even think of that yet. Just focus on content!

Any type of channel is relatively easy to start. What's difficult is keeping up a posting schedule, making good content that attracts and retains viewers, and constantly improving your work.

That is a big list, and you are very ambitious for wanting to do them all. My advise is start small, you might end up burning yourself out before you even hit your potential. I'd personally say vlogs are the easiest, but i suppose if you have medical knowledge and working in the field then that might be rolling of the tongue for you.

Thanks to all! All amazing and helpful advice! I feel like it makes sense, to really just start now. The good thing is that if I know of future problems, like running out of content or so, that I have a future game plan and maybe make a backlog of videos, then publish em....so even when im not motivated, I have something to post. THanks guys! :)

Out of all those channels, I would say there isn't an easy one unfortunately haha. All of them are going to take quite a bit of work. I know for the funny interview ones from doing my own interviews that they take a loooonnnnngggg time, depending on what you're asking you could go out some days for like 5 hours and not get a single person that wants to be interviewed. Or you could get a few but none make the final cut.

Explainervideos for Medical students sound pretty interesting to me though. Don't see plenty of them around. You should try the majority of your ideas though to see what it is that you really like and then go from there :)

Hey Chris, yes I agree, you make a lot of sense. It all comes down to trying and seeing it for yourself.
I think I will start with an animated one first though, because that step will be easier than a personal Vlog, which feels like complete exposure... :S :D
