What is the best things to put in Youtube channel keywords section?

So I have been wondering what to put here. Channel>Advanced>ChannelKeywords.

Should I put my channel name? Should I use the games name I play? I am at a loss and cant seem to find an answer on youtube. I am sorry if this has been asked before but I didn't find an answer using the search function here. What is the best thing to put here and if any of you know how does youtube use this function.

Keywords are basically what words a user would type in order to get to your channel. So for instance my channel is about food, but it's pointless putting my channel name in there because only those that know my channel will be typing that in. So you want good keywords that describe the channel but don't have a lot of competition. So again using mine as an example I would use keywords like 'UK cooking channel' 'food youtuber' but also relevant keywords such as 'recipe videos' 'cooking videos' etc etc. Those are the sort of terms people will type in order to get to my channel. Avoid keywords that do not match your content. So if you have a channel about gaming, don't use keywords about tv's or skateboarding. That's keywords in a nutshell really. Use ad words keyword tool to help find keywords with low competition but high search volume

TubeBuddy helps a lot with how many tags you can use and it can rank your tags as well. Go for things that are highly searched but that there's few videos out there in
