what is it like to be famous on YouTube?

Let me tell you all about it! I went to Wal-Mart one day man, and they had a banner with my name on it across the entire front of the store! I haven't checked my inbox in weeks because it takes too long to load! I went to the DMV to get my license renewed, and the lady at the desk turned her computer around and showed me my own youtube channel! Long story short, I didn't even have to take a renewal driving test! She just handed me my new license and walked me to the door, giving me a golden scepter and crown in the process!

This is obviously not true, haha. But I do hope one day it is. Sometime in the late late late late late late future. >.<
teehee, you silly.

I would know if I was famous if a random guy came to my house for an autograph. (And of course carrying a winning lottery ticket that he wanted me to have!)

Nobody in this forum is FAMOUS on youtube. I mean some of us have what I consider large followings, most I've ever seen is 30,000 subs, but the famous you're describing I don't think anyone here has achieved. :)

I'm not famous but my growth is quite nice, +410 subs and +120.000 views in a month. I get a lot of comments and also personal messages on my channel asking me to check them out, saying that I'm awesome etc. It's a great feeling and I hope I never lose the magic feeling!

I'm not famous either, I join Symph' when he says nobody here is. To me a famous YouTube user is someone who is in the top 2000 biggest channel (the lowest point where VidStatsX tracks the channel ranking) so that's about 111.000 subs as I write this message.

Altough to me, since my friend join in in some of the videos and share them to their Facebook walls, I'm 100% sure everytime I go to a party , even when I don't know about anyone, there will be people who subscribed to me and like my stuff, so that's a handy conversation starter.
