What is a YouTuber?

I've had a lot of mixed responses over this one. Some think it applies only to well known people, others think it applies if someone has a a YouTube account. What are your thoughts?
 
A YouTuber is someone who is passionate about their channel or account and devotes time and energy into their channel. You wouldn't call a guy who just plays Candy Crush occasionally a "gamer". You call someone a gamer if they have devoted time and energy into video games. Same goes for a YouTuber.
 
I think a YouTuber is someone who is passionate about interacting on YouTube. I would consider someone who even has no video's, but comments and likes regularly a YouTuber!
It's all about community!
 
Yeah, like many groups, I think it's basically just anyone who self-identifies as such. I say I'm a YouTuber, so I am one.

I agree being a youtuber is all about the community, but if someone tells you they're a youtuber, you're naturally gonna expect to see some content. I think its necessary they have at least 1 video:)
 
I think that a Youtuber is someone who is an active member of the Youtube community through watching videos, commenting on videos, and making videos. Basically, if you do anything with videos on Youtube, then you are a Youtuber in my eyes.
