What is a good free screen recording software which also records your voice?

Internet Idiot who loves making people laugh
I have been asked to do a review on a website, but I don't want to buy anything that does screen recording like this for just one video

I am not really bothered about a webcam being able to see my face, as I will just be talking over the top I was just wondering if someone can point me in the direction of a good one?

Best choice is Open Broadcaster Software, there's a useful guide on how to set up for achieve best local recordings quality, I've been using for some time and so far rarely left me on foot.

^^^^^ OBS is great, but if you dont mind me asking why do you want to have it record your voice and the game? I would reccomend using something like audacity that way you can have both recordings and have more control over the audio in your video? When i recorded my voice I would run into problems with the game being too loud or my voice too quiet

Im not playing a game :) I am literally just recording my screen while showing a website, and talking about it the only audio will be my voice :) I have no idea how to do that anyway I have done lets plays before but the audio is always terrible haha. Oh and thankyou for the programme!

OBS doesn't work for me, because it needs some configurations which I can never configure. Sometimes I can't record games, it shows blank screen instead. So I always use bandicam for screen recording and gaming.
However OBS records screen very perfectly.

You can use OBS to record your screen. You just need to set it up to record your monitor instead of game footage.

Oops, sorry haha. I have a bad habit of thinking of games when people talk about screen recorders always

Lol

Xsplit is the way to go with it's interface and simple options.

You can record 1080p locally which I BELIEVE that is what you want right?
