What inspired or attracted you towards youtube?

I got inspired mostly by Natalie Tran and a whole bunch of other vloggers who could make me laugh and give me something to look forward to. I started making videos because I want to make people smile, brighten their day and make them feel like they are awesome, because I think more people have to realise their awesomeness.
So you're planning to become an inspiration to someone else eh? All of us here ARE actually and that's what has brought Youtube so many users.

Well for me it was 7 years ago... youtube was a bit different back then lol! But back then it was all about just sharing a few little animations I had made. I wanted to show them off basically and well I guess it worked. But Recently on my new channel last yr, its more of a trying to make youtube a profession now. Make money doing something u love and actually help people too? Wow... I hope I can make something outta my channel and finally stroll into work and Just say, f**k OFF! Then leave lol... le sighs -.-

I made films for fun before Youtube was invented, and showed them at my local video club. When YouTube was invented, it was just an opportunity to have a greater audience!

:o What a luck Youtube came out, or else you still had to be presenting your talent in the local level. And I see you're a pretty old user, 2006!! Goodness me!!

Yeah, my film club had about 60 members, and we have 2 shows a year that have 200 viewers, so way smaller than YouTube, but on the other hand, a large audience in one room has a really different feel to comments on YouTube.

If something funny happens in your film, you can actually hear the amount and type of laughter as it goes around the room, and equally when you think something's funny, but nobody laughs, it's interesting too.

I love local film clubs for teaching basic film storytelling...

True story man, even though Youtube has brought a large audience people can show the world, you can never get a true world experience. The silence of the audience, the fear of going on stage, the laughter, the shouts, the cheers, the salutations that you get from a real stage audience is so more complementing than even if you get 1000s of comments on youtube.
