Hello people!
If you have a second please take a look at my channel eagle3films. Comment below with what pops to you! What makes you want to subscribe? What makes you want to click away? I'm looking to improve my channel as much as I can.

Also if review my channel I shall do the same. If you have anything specific you want me to look for let me know.

Thank you very much for your time,
Chris

What makes me subscribe to channels? First and foremost, the subject matter needs to be especially interesting to me, and secondly, the quality of the videos needs to be good. It can also help if i find the person who owns the channel charismatic but that is a side issue, the first two reasons are usually deciding.

Well, after watching the video set as your channel trailer, the thing that immediately turned me off was the audible transitions in audio through each jump-cut. If you have headphones or earbuds on like me, you can hear a distinct "pop" noise between each transition that is very noticeable, and wears thin quickly. My biggest suggestion is to take the extra time to add at least a simple (very short) crossfade between all those clips to make things smoother. It will got a very long way.

I need to be interested in the content. It's hard for me in the first place to subscribe to a channel. Most times I usually go back to channels instead of subscribe to them. I REALLY have to be interested to subscribe.

Very smart piece of advice, definitely helpful for fast cuts!

And personally, I subscribe to channels where I find the personalities involved engaging, interesting, and both dedicated and passionate about their content. Of course it helps if I'm very interested in the types of videos they produce!

Honestly? It just comes down to the content for me. If you've made me laugh/interested more than once. Have decent editing, good audio etc to the point I could keep it running in the background without it seriously making me cringe I tend to sub (Although not on my main channel. I have a purpose for that and I don't like it being flooded by hundreds of channels :p) I don't so much care if the audio is PERFECT, but if it hits the ear wrong a few times it reflects badly. That being said, again, it's the CONTENT that matters most to me. If you're providing something no one else does then frankly if you have mediocre skills at all audio, video, etc I don't mind so long as you realize and learn in the future.

Edit: That being said, there are hundreds, nay thousands of gamer channels to compete with out there, so you really need to make sure that audio/video quality is prioritized before anything else. Since the moment it's bad people have so much more to choose from. and you really want to draw them to you, not away :)

dont have time to goto your channel right now for a review. there are a few things that would make me subscribe to a channel. to start, you must have more of what i want, like if i found your channel looking for smash videos, i'd be more likely to subscribe if i see that you have other smash brother videos that i might be interested in.

you ofcourse have to have decent audio and video quality. for me you have to be entertaining or informative(or both if you can). if you make a video regarding a subject research it so that you know what your talking about. if your doing a gameplay video(or any video in general) try to be entertaining and not dull and boring. if your able to mix the two then perfect.

the way you sound can be very off putting for me. like i said if you sound bored or uninterested then i might make me find someone else video. a little video editiing like adding effects could help draw in more subscribers. i think this is most of the stuff i care about.
