What if Internet Advertising gets doomed

I was just thinking what will happen to google and other company if internet advertising goes "Go Home, Advertising is over" lol. As you all know there are extension like Ghostery which prevents ads from showing. So what if the whole world uses ghostery or some other extension to prevent ads on youtube instream videos and websites. Damn everyone gonna cry isn't it or google will kill all this extension to safeguard their company.

I think companies like google that rely on advertising so heavily would not let that happen if it got that bad they would take drastic action to stop it

If people use Chrome, they'll block them, like they did to some of the YT-MP3 ones, and if necessary, block extensions in general, but someone will always find a way around it or make an external program to do it.

yea there will always be something that does it but i dont think google would let it become so easy to do that everybody does it

If ad revenue ceases, create affordable content that people would pay to see.

Not a problem for me because it's just a hobby and i don't intend on having adverts on my videos. But i can see how if somehow this did manage to happen that the big youtubers would all have to switch to paid subscription, which would be really sad to see. So for that reason i would rather adverts stayed around
