What Helps Video Exposure?

A good way to utilize Twitter/Facebook is to probably follow certain developers or communities that are based around your particular niche. If you produce a specialty video, it might be nice to tweet that link at the specific community page or developer twitter. We've done that a couple of times for our Cosplay videos and that has helped garner some interest for us. Just a thought :)

BTW (sorry to hijack the topic) you must start to introduce some simple plot in you videos. There must be also some repetitive element - for example somebody must always explodes at the end. Predictable element plus something new (unpredictable element) plus very simple but coherent plot (different way to reach to the final culminating element). May be you can experiment with this to make your videos more viral.
Lol, now I'm sorry for hijacking the topic. What I do now is that all the videos are stand-alone videos with the only two things in common: my cat voice and the outro's.

Thank you for your suggestions, I have to say that may improve my videos! The point is I don't know how I should design the plots and I have no idea what. Do you happen to have ideas which are simple? :) I'm not an animator, so I'm looking for something simple.

Avoid Facebook groups. They're all just full of spammed links anyways, your videos will not be seen. I feel like that's the way with all social media groups. Forums seem to be the best place. Mods are on their toes watching for spammers. Reddit seems okay. Just analyze the subreddits and see if it's just all spam. Or people took time to write descriptions about the video rather a spammed link.

Also, quality content will make them stay. So that's probably the most important part. Thumbnails is just the cover of the book. If it looks interesting enough, people will click it. It's your job to make them stay, and have them possibly click that sub button.

I have been using the basics of Twitter and Reddit to promote my videos in an easy and efficient way. Though I have always been feeling there might be a better way to get my videos out to a larger audience :D

Would anybody out there in the world know what could help me out with this predicament?

I go to retirement homes and pitch my channel to seniors. I feel it is an untapped audience for the youtube community. They have a great computer lab for them to use. Most of them have no clue what is going on but still click on my videos and usually do not know how to turn them off so I get a good retention rating in the long run. I try to explain to them they must use my playlist and watch every episode up to the most recent like a TV show so they understand the entire scope of the channel. Problem is getting into these places and being allowed to come back.

Not sure if you're being funny or dead serious.... But after some thoughts about it, I think it could be huge potential. They are trying to teach those seniors to use computers and internet. Even it might be not now, it might be over 10 years where the seniors are getting more and more used to computers and internet.

And they have too much time so they could start watching stupid videos. What happens to kids now with all those unboxing videos, you could do those for the seniors. And maybe not unboxing, but maybe something like arranging flowers behind the geraniums or something. So the seniors could keep watching that.... Dunno, there must be some kind of potential in some of the senior interests and if you're on of the first, you could become huge ;)

I'm not gonna do that, so the idea is free to take :P

Oh it's no joke. So many seniors have taken a liking I have just started a Patreon just for it. I figured who else has all the time in the world to stare at videos other than the unemployed and kids? They fit the demographic very well. I would strongly suggest you reconsider since a lot of them could use your videos for cheering up. They mostly are confused and mock my channel but you could really cheer them up with yours. Keep on squealing!
