What happened to Fullscreen?!?!

No its not "full" Fullscreen everyone thinks they are getting accepted to Fullscreen Inc.In reality Its called Fullscreen Go which is a like a waiting room. If they check their FS dashboard it will say Fullscreen Go, not Inc. If they check the email where their contracts come from it will say fullscreen Go as well.

It is actually the "real" Fullscreen that accept basicly anyone.

Fullscreen got money hungry and want to suck out as much as possible from small channels with bad contracts.

So lately Ive been noticing the Fullscreen LITERALLY accept ANYONE, just like AwesomenessTV :(
I saw someone with less than 30 subs and less than 500 total views got partnered with them!
This is just pure sh*t, or is the person lying that they are with fullscreen, can anyone clear this up for me..or explain or something..?

They've done the same as RPM. They've realised clearly that there's more money to be had in zero view acceptance. Doesn't make them a bad network though, it's just going to make them a bit busier.

Thats exactly what AwesomenessTV is doing but alot of people are saying that theyre bad, how come now that fullscreen is doing the same thing and theyre still a good network? :|

Never said it was fake fullscreen, but i do agree they are doing Fullscreen Go to swallow up as many small channels as possible.

I think it`s the, "lets get in all the tiny channels and if any hit off we`ll have them on 70% for 2 years"

in fairness, their deal is not too bad and with Fullscreen`s rep it will force other low requirement networks to push up their offers.

It`s up to what the content creator is looking for in their network in the end of the day anyway.

These people share and affect our cpm's too.. It's quite harmful to the majority of users.
All networks are doing it now unfortunately, it's for the best as soon enough the market will be so saturated the s****y (for lack of a better term) networks will all die out due to lack of revenue.. One would imagine they would then turn to screwing their partnered channels, in which it would lead to virtually no renewals of contracts, then the failure of the company.

I've heard big rumours that Google will be shaking up the whole MCN situation.. It eats quite a bit of revenue for them, and they know MCN's have pushed a huge amount of content creators off or away from YouTube.[DOUBLEPOST=1372575878,1372575422][/DOUBLEPOST]

It's less about money and more about the numbers and valuations they'll get due to the "speculation" of said numbers.
They make virtually nothing from smaller channels, I imagine the email/web/phone support they pay (@ $15-$30/hr) for smaller channels may even outweigh the revenue they receive from said channels.

If they spend only 30hrs per year with a channel making just over threshold (w/ billing, financial, support, payments, etc) they'll lose money using my made up guesstimate calculations.

I consider the contract I have with fullscreen to be very fair. Not the best and certainly not the worst. Overall very happy I went with them. I'm going to use these 2 years to grow my channel as big as I can *fingers crossed* and hopefully 2 years from now Ill be big. Then I will negotiate a better contract with them or with another network.
