What Happend To Beauty Gurus?

Hello Friends!
I was just wonder what ever happened to Beauty Gurus on YouTube. Like you rarely see an outfit look book or ootd around YouTube now a days. The old "beauty gurus" now make skits and stories and focus on entertainment instead of fashion and beauty. I miss seeing my favorite youtubers post their outfits.
 
It's same thing that happened with gamers. Everything in the beauty community was already done and basically the same. Their new videos are more relevant and trending which would lead them to more views and exposure.

True, but fashion and beauty trends are always changing so they should have a never ending supply of idea XD
 
because nowadays skits and entertainment will take the average person MUCH further not to mention it makes you a lot more marketable than a beauty guru which is more of a niche based talent. guru channels are definitely still around theyre just not really in the spotlight anymore that was youtube like 3 to 4 years ago

Yeah, but I meant the type of videos that are trending (skits and stories) not fashion lol. Just like gamers, there are always new and trending games, but their audience gets bored of games and want to see the Youtuber do something different.

That's true I guess I'm still stuck in YouTube early times XD But it was my childhood watching them :)
 
I have an odd range of the types of videos I watch but as far as beauty goes I do watch a few Youtubers. NitrraB still does "Look Books" and makeup videos.
 
Good point! I have noticed that too, wish they would bring it back :) Because you're right styles are always changing and they could make so many amazing videos!
