Haha, it's not that basic.

But if you just want to do a replica, any font would be good.

Myself, I am pretty impressed by the quality of the button and the print of the text on it. It's not just some paint that will get scratched with ease. It's a high quality made product.

It looks like the same font in the youtube comments section.
Try looking up that font on google. I think it's called Roboto.

It's called Roboto.
The yt channel name is either Regular or Medium (I used Regular).
The text underneath is probably Light.

Hi, YouTube uses Roboto for the engraved text. I have seen that mostly YouTube use Roboto font only.

As the title says, What font does the youtube play button use (The 100K one)?

The "YouTube" text uses a custom Trade Gothic Bold Condensed, while the "PRESENTS" text and channel name use Helvetica Neue (or standard Trade Gothic).

For a quick mock-up, Helvetica Bold Condensed or Trade Gothic will look spot on.
