What exactly IS vlogging?

I've Got It
so I know obviously that its video blogging, but what exactly is it? Do viewers want to hear me talk about my day? (I hope not, because I really don't do anything exciting) Or do they want me to talk about products, people, musicians, food and stuff that I like/don't like? Sorry if I sound really dumb right now, I'm having a lot of problems coming up with new video ideas. HELP! haha
 
I find that theres different types of vlogging to me at least the talking static angle camera vlog the selfie dynamic style vlog the static but maybe with a skit element (like cut aways to something while they still talk but ya)
so talk about what you want what interests you something you know you can do better than anyone else
 
basically people talking about what happened in there day or a topic of sorts that they would like to discuss prank vs prank kind of does vlogs too
 
I think the vlogs that get the most views are when people talk about things that they like to talk about.. So if you are into astronomy talk about that.. the thing is to engage your audience talk to them not at them.. Ask them questions and ask them to respond.. If you want to vlog about your daily or weekly life ask questions about circumstances that occurred.

just think, when you go to a blog to read something. what are you looking for in that blog? then when you find that answer instead of writing a blog you just talk about it.

Basically people want to hear your opinion on something that they can relate to. So like if you want an audiance that loves games. Talk about games. If you want an audiance who loves movies. Talk about movies. and so on and so forth.

Vlog is just a blog but instead of typing it, you put your thoughts into a video where you can see your face or daily vlogs is where you record your day but I don't suggest doing that unless your life is very interesting or you can make it interesting
 
vlog about something that you would like to hear about! :) or you could go a long with those countless tags if youre short of ideas :p
