What exactly does socialblade's "total grade" even mean?

Jim Sterling - whose channel has 901k subscribers (2k of which were obtained in the last 30 days) and 5,654,000 views in the past 30 days - has a total grade on socialblade of B+: https://socialblade.com/youtube/user/jimsterling

Arlo - a Nintendo-focused gaming channel with 493k subscribers (11k of which were obtained in the last 30 days) and 3,640,000 views in the past 30 days - has a total grade on socialbade of B: https://socialblade.com/youtube/user/arlostuff

My channel has less than 2,000 subscribers, forty of which were obtained in the last 30 days, and I got less than 10,000 views in the last 30 days. So you'd think my channel should have a much smaller grade than either of those two, right? Well, I somehow have a grade of C+, just two grades under Arlo: https://socialblade.com/youtube/channel/UCPmwIVf4uT831Xdcc3E9kuQ

So clearly, their grade isn't a representation of how much my channel is taking off like a rocket.

So what exactly does it mean? When I hover over the question mark, it just says "The total grade is a visual representation of the "Social Blade Rank" (or SB Rank), based on the ranking against our whole database."

Ok, so ... what exactly is the SB Rank? And why should I give a damn about it?
