What Editing Tricks Can You Do With Camtasia Studio 8?

Hey guys,
So I have Camtasia Studio 8, which I know is not very popular in the editing community, but I can't find Sony Vegas Pro for free plus it just seems to work for me.
Now since it is not a very popular editing software, I can't find any tutorials on how to do editing tricks/special effects such as cloning and the like, mainly for vlogs.
So I was wondering for the very few out there who may have Camtasia, do you know of any good tricks that you can do on it?
If anyone could help me it would be appreciated.

I use it when I'm doing quick edits, it's not very glamorise but it's user friendly! In my eyes it's a slightly upgraded windows live movie maker, you can do the basics of editing such as increase the volume, adjust the resolution, ect. Camtasia however allows you to fit multiple audio clips into one video, allowing the creation of outros and other things. It also allows the use of overlays and other common editing things, such as watermarks.

I don't really know how to explain the tips, but I would be willing to send you a video that I could make explaining some tips and tricks on it.

That would be great! If you could send me the video it would be greatly appreciated :P I have done an attempt at cloning with it which ended up looking awful XD and I do use the layering to overlay another video for the end card, but I would love to know how I can do other things with it :P

ah dammit :/ I have tried downloading sony vegas pro 13 for the pc but it always says that the version I have (8.1) is not compatible with the download, which really annoys me :/ are there any other editing softwares you recommend?
 
sony vegas movie studio is just as good as sony pro but much less expensive - sony pro has extra stuff that is meant more for a professional studio that a home user won't likely use or miss- if you look on amazon.com, you can actually get sony movie studio for less than the sony website. - if you get the sony package with the hitfilm bundle, you have an incredible amount of effects you can do that look very pro.

Well, I'm using Pro 13 on my Windows 8.1, that's the main program I use, but I know many people who use Adobe Premiere, it is pretty much the same as Vegas, but with a few layout changes.
 
I also forgot, there is a software by a company called "Blackmagic" - "Fusion" they give away a free version that pretty much has everything an average user would need, supposedly rivals after effects and is a hollywood caliber tool.

I can't seem to find a download of Premiere anywhere :/
