What does your username mean?

My username was made not by me (technically), but rather it was created by my mum. We would always play Mario Kart and Mario Party minigames as a family, and weirdly enough I would always without fail pick to play as Yoshi. Now my mum never realised it before, but one day we were on it and I picked Yoshi again, she then told me she knew why I always chose Yoshi to play as. Not having a clue what she was on about, I just asked her and she said "it's because Joshy sounds like Yoshi". Yes people sometimes called me Joshy, but late last year, December 26th, I just got my new laptop for Christmas and I decided to make a channel. Stuck for a username I remembered what my mum said about my name sounding like Yoshi, so I changed the 'y' in Joshy to an 'i' and called myself 'JoshiLikeYoshi'.
I was always big on Nintendo video games anyway growing up, so it really fit my personality hugely choosing that name and playing Nintendo games for my channel.

Well simply put, ages ago when I tried to sign up for a site (I forget if it was Friendster or something else) and I wanted the name "Kleinegans" (which, in German is "Little Goose" ... properly spelled as kleine Gans of course). However, the name was already taken, and so I did a fairly common internet thing and used a "z" for the "s" and came up with Kleineganz (which unfortunately changes the meaning if you're actually German, but I still mean it as "Little Goose" not "a little part of the whole"). I stuck with that spelling ever since. That also explains my cute avatar, which could be either a little goose (gosling) or a little duck (duckling).

All of this comes from what my relatives in Germany used to refer me as - "Die kleine Gänzchen von Michigan See" (the little baby goose from Lake Michigan - because I was born in Chicago).

My wife had a friend at Google and was one of the first people in the world with a Gmail account. She chose "babyteeth4" because at the time she had a dental condition where she still had 4 baby teeth that had not fallen out even though she was in her late 20's (she has had them removed since). Anyway when Google took over YouTube she used the name to set up a YouTube account.

Hey thanks man. It's amazing what you can come up with from life experience. BTW, I like your videos even though I'm not much into gaming. Your channel and vids are just really funny!

Nothing, just my name as in my real name. Never really liked the thought of a username for my channel but I guess thats me!

My Username is basically my name in a "The ____ Show" template. I made it that way because my vision for how I want the channel to grow is to be similar to the style of Late Night talk shows (like Conan, for example) where they have skits, vlog-like material, Funny Segments and my absolute favorite, Remote Sketches!

Here's my story. Once there were two children playing on their computers, a boy named Patrick and a girl named Quincy. The two of them spent all day playing video games in their rooms, to the point that they only go out of their room or school and food. One day, Quincy was hit with a terminal illness and was told she only had 2 weeks to live. In order to preserve her memory, Patrick told her he would continue playing for the both of them, so he tried to create an online persona that matched both of them. First it was P&Q, but he thought about it and switched the order so it became Q&P. He thought about it harder and made it Qanp, but it didn't make much sense. He searched and searched, and thought the letter Z looked nice, so he switched it to Qazp. Of course this didn't make much sense to him, so he thought "What starts with P and has a nice ring to it?" After much careful thought he thought of the word "plum" because he loves plums. His new name became QazPlum. He thought about it even more and realized how overrated vowels were, so he got rid of the U, but kept the A so that at least it's not impossible to pronounce. And that's how Qazplm came about.

Nah jk, that was all a lie. :tonguecute:
My name's just the 6 letters on the side of the keyboard. I thought of it 6-7 years ago-ish and it just stuck with me.
